From a unique atmosphere to a unique menu, Pinky's turns out to be exactly what we were looking for when we said we wanted something different. In a world where everyone serves burgers and tacos, be a Pinky's. My (picky) husband had a grilled chicken bombwich and was very pleased. I, the not so picky one, had a twisted cristo and was entirely blown away. Everything is cooked fresh to order. The location is clean and super cool to visit. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we stayed a while and chatted after finishing our meal before heading out to complete errands while we were in town. Pinky's will remain on our list for a fantastic and special meal we just cannot get anywhere else. What a wonderful and neat little locally owned shop to visit for lunch!
Very clean. Food was cooked fresh to order. Some interesting combos of sandwiches to try! Very tasty
Heh, what should people know? People should know that Pinky's is the MOST, AND DELICIOUS, plus ELEGANT RESTAURANT I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY 16 YEARS OF LIVING! The way you make those succulent sandwiches with MAC'N'CHEESE, it's pure genius and raw expertise! In my life, I have NEVER once seen a place so lively, so beautiful with art, and that has the most kindest people I've seen in a single restaurant. If you were to tell me which restaurant has the greatest foods, overall, I'd immediately choose Pinky's Grilled Cheestro! Great job guys, really!
Great customer service and amazing food. In a town full of different variations of the same thing for or food options they provide something unique. Such a nice environment you would never guess walking in that it’s a small locally owned businesses. 10/10 would recommend
I really wanted to like this place. It looks so good online and after a full day at the Garden City water park (which is really great, by the way), my family and I were real hungry.
The good: Creative menu. Clean place.
The bad: Order at the counter (which sucks, because the menu requires time to read with so many unique offerings), and pickup at the counter. And even though it's counter service, the credit card machine tries to get full service tips (22%, or more). The place is a shameless money grab. They charge for a cup of water. I got the $11 Kansas Burger (see pic) which is supposed to come with "onion rings" but they served me Durkee fried onion crumbs from a can (the stuff on green bean casserole at Thanksgiving). Pinky's is the first restaurant I've seen that serves burgers but doesn't have fries (suggestion to management: get an air fryer and some frozen fries. And get some frozen onion rings, while you're at it).
The ambiance: It's loud, real loud with nothing to absorb the sound. Everyone yells at their tablemates and like a vicious cycle, the volume escalates. And it's not comfortable with hard seats from a typical fast-food restaurant (but this place charges upscale restaurant prices).
Bottom line: The potential is there, but as of July 2022, it is falling short.
