KFC

Ordered online and will not be doing this again. I would recommend just coming in and ordering in person or over the phone at least. My order must have been lost as I showed up at the prescibed time for pick up and waited nearly an hour.

They were busy for the holiday but there were people who showed up 30 min after me, ordered, then got their food within 10 minutes, while I continued to wait patiently, and reminded the front desk once that I had been waiting a while.

The only saving grace is that they had to make my food fresh 45 minutes after I had told them I was there for pickup, and therefore the food was excellent and fresh. Otherwise may rating would have been lower.

Every thing was good and ate in but no refills for drinks.

Stopped at Newell Truck Center for a break and decided to grab some lunch at KFC which is in the parking lot. Just average KFC menu and food. We decided on the buffet which is all you can eat plus a drink. For 2 people it was $18.21. Food was warm could have been warmer. I had fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, fried okra and Cole slaw and a bite of apple cobbler. Counter staff was on the verge of being rude with us but very friendly with a family who arrived after us. It makes me wonder if she doesn't care for truck drivers? Who knows? Maybe she didn't like my hat or something. Either way typical KFC food. Clean inside and ladies bathroom was clean too.

Buffet was fresh, on a Tuesday at dinner time. Standard KFC fare. Good family value.
