Great authentic Mexican food. Service was good and portions were generous. Seems like the bad reviews are from an expectation of Tex-mex style Mexican food like chain restaurants. I’ll definitely be back.
We were excited to come and see this place. Before leaving this review I read several others because I don’t like leaving a 3 star review. The place was fun and the staff were great. The salsa provided with the chips was awesome. But the rest of the food, not so much. I agree with all the 1 star reviews on the general quality and taste of the food. We
Will not be going back. That’s not to say we should have been given our money back (i .e. A 1 star review) but if you’re expecting great (or even good) empanadas, tacos or rice… yeah, no.
We came here before a Trailblazer Championship Wrestling show. We loved the clean bright look and the staff is very friendly and helped explain the menu. The kids decided on the kids meals and they came out great (I enjoyed eating their fries and the nuggets and corn dog were fresh, hot, and crispy.). I had an empanada and was concerned about the toppings but tried it anyway and I'm glad I did. It was delicious and would definitely order it again, except get the platter! The salsa that comes with the complimentary chips (with entree order) was wonderful and homemade. We were told they'll be adding more to the menu soon and look forward to being back to try it out.
Had a pleasant lunch. Their red rice was well cooked and seasoned. I ordered a cheese empanada, and it was tasty. You can add a hot salsa to your regular salsa dip for extra spice and flavor.
