This restaurant is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I feel like having a fair meal, this is the place that comes right away to my mind. excellent and all kinds of food and a large list of dishes.helpful staff, and great spirit. In addition to that, the bill is modest. I suggest this place with no doubt.

Loved the z man sandwich : brisket, cheese, and onion rings. Great staff. We would definitely recommend.

I’ve been a lifelong resident of KC and this is my favorite BBQ in the city. Their chicken, ribs, Z-Man sandwiches, French fries, and coleslaw and beans are incredible! Whenever I leave town, Joe’s is always the first stop on the way home! They have been great during the COVID19 crisis in handling orders and curbside pickup. I always recommend to out of town folks and suggest it for dinner probably too often! Love them.

The best BBQ ribs and brisket I have had anywhere. We always stop here when passing through KC. Ribs are moist and meaty. Brisket has a deep smoke line. Burnt ends are also very good. My favorite side is the fries. They have a good seasoning and serving size is very generous -- plan on sharing. Onion rings are also good (and portion size is large). You can get them as your side for an upcharge. It's not listed on the menu, but you can add a bone or two if you want to sample the ribs when you order some other meat.

Don't be put off by the line-- unlike the original gas station location it moves fairly quickly and your food will be ready about the same time you finish getting your drinks. I've never had trouble finding an open table, even before they expanded into the adjacent storefront.
