Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

As I've written before, there's nothing all that special about the food at an Olive Garden but I've had consistently excellent service at everyone I've ever visited. What ever corporate management is doing should be emulated by restaurants everywhere. Our server on this visit was Caylei W. The last visit was precipitated by my daughter's desire to go there for her birthday. I had the Braised Beef Gorgonzola Alfredo (photos attached). It was fine, though some of the beef was a bit chewy and I didn't love the flavor, but that's just taste and not an indictment of the dish. Most importantly, it was served piping hot.

Wanted to be fancy tonight & of course the dining is closed but they have a drive up service which is absolutely crazy. Over an hour for our food but I'm not complaining because these workers are literally running around, having to deal with upset people, & really backed up kitchen I'm sure.

We are all having to adjust our way of life. So let's practice grace and patience to the people that are as stressed as anyone else & working their butts off. ????

We went for a late lunch. OMG there was a half hour wait. Some people in the bar left so we snagged their table. Service was good. We both had soup and salad, which we both liked. We also took advantage of their special to take home a pasta for $5. We both got spaghetti which was very good. What a deal. It was nice lunch out in the middle of the week.

Basing this review off of Olive Garden standards. Parking lot is tight for the area. We walked in at a good time and had no wait. This location has a nice open layout vs some others we’ve been to. Very clear and friendly staff. Soup and salad came out quick and food followed shorty after.

Olive Garden has always been one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always good and fresh. The salad is always delicious. The entree is always served piping hot. The service is hit or miss depending on who your server is. Plus, who can forget about those wonderful breadsticks.
