The Peanut

AVOID CARRYOUT. I was given the wrong order (I got three plain wings and I ordered half dozen buffalo) Went back to get the correct order. Waited forever and when they came with the food, they brought out three buffalo wings... I’m like “well I wanted 6 buffalo wings”. They said “well you already have three wings so here’s the other three”. I explain they are plain wings, So they take the three plain wings that have been sitting in my car for an hour now and I have to wait again to get three more wings.... for all I know they tossed the wings I had in the car in buffalo sauce and brought em out... Just my experience anyway. Should of went to Minskys. My fault.

Attended for Clown Shoes Beer event. Great crowd, excellent staff, and the Buffalo wings here...I heard they were good, but "good" is a huge understatement. This place is a must-visit if you're in the area.

Seriously the best wings in town. I’m sure most people already know this, but the service was great too! It’s nice that the menu says the wings take 20min to cook. If you know that’s what you want I’d say put your order in before the rest of your party if they’re not getting wings that way the food comes out at the same time.

The Peanut is one of our favorite hangouts in Olathe! We go there at least once a week (sometimes 3-4 times a week) and have eaten probably at least half of everything on the menu. It doesn't matter if you go for brunch, lunch or dinner, the food is always delicious, and here's a pro-tip - they have some of the best breakfast in the area, hands down!

Sure, the wings are awesome, famous and deservedly so, but they really do everything very well and are happy to make mods for you (ask for extra crispy tots or add turkey and bacon to your ruben).

But enough about the food - the staff has been absolutely incredible in our experience! Whether you're at the bar or at a table with 20 people, they are very attentive and on point! Super friendly and fun to chat with as well, they really do care about getting your food right!

We were recommended The Peanut because of the wings. We were told they have the best wings. So we decided to give it a try. It was on the weekend the Chiefs won to go to the 2020 Superbowl so it was packed around lunch time. We were lucky enough to get the last seat and with how busy it was the service was still great. Multiple people came by to check on us and refill our water. It felt like we were some of the only customers in there. We ordered the wings with a side of fries and a tuna sandwich. The wings were great. I think they had some sort of lemon pepper dry rub with buffalo sauce as the wet rub. The tuna sandwich was good too. I would recommend the peanut to anyone. Very pleased with our trip.
