Flashback Diner

What a cute diner! Love the retro furniture. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to my gluten free options. Tasty burgers and fries. Lots of available sauces and condiments. We didn’t even have to ask for them. No gluten feee fries as they’re all batter dipped😟. Highly recommend!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I ordered my food around 830 and told them I was traveling through and wouldn't be there til 930. I got there at 935-940 and said I had a call in order, which was a steak finger basket and order of onion rings, but wanted to add a corn dog for my kiddo and a root beer float as I didn't know they had them when I made the order. I got the order and drove off as I was continuing on my trip. I got down the road and the fries that came in the basket were warm like they made the order at 830 instead of 930, the 6 onion rings that I received were also warm and crunchy as they had sat for a while cooling down, and steak fingers were also below par and didn't even eat them. The only thing that came out got was the corn dog and gravy for the basket. On top of it all I was charged $17 and some change for that. I'm still calling the store and talking to the owner or someone in charge, as the ones working looked like two kids!!! 😡😡😡😡

We stop here regularly when traveling down highway 50, used to be a dairy queen way back when and now it is a cozy "flashback diner" with a wide variety of great food on their menu and friendly faces. Food was hot and fresh. Food is worth the price, you get a lot of food for what you pay.

Stopped here with my three year old while driving through kansas. It's a great little fast food place! Reminds me of a dairy Queen and Sonic put together with a few more things on the menu like fried pickles and okra. Food was yummy and burgers taste a lot like Sonic burgers. Ice cream treats remind me of dairy Queen. (They even have the same set up behind the counter so maybe it used to be one). Great food and the girls were very sweet. Definitely recommend!!! The seasoned fries were delicious and my kiddo loved them!
