Acapulco Mexican Grill

This was my first time trying this restaurant. It was right off post. When I arrived, I didnt see any customers. I was greeted by waiter and asked for to go menu. (I had already looked on their website to check prices and what they offered) He said it would take about 15min. It took about 10min for him to bring the food out. Spent almost $50 for 3ppl (that includes 20% tip) I ordered Alambres del Sol $12.99, Carnitas $10.99, and Mar y Tierra $12.99. Each of the meals came with 3 tortillas and chips/dip. Pros: decent amount of food, a nice variety, it looks very tasty. Taste wise,it wasnt bad or great. (Carnitas)It was okay. For ppl that dont like spices it would be good. I prefer more spices (not spicy) My son had the Alambres del Sol and he said it was very good. It smelled delicious. And my husband had the Mar y Tierra..he said it was pretty, just alittle bland for his tastes, but he added some hot sauce and was happy. I would recommend trying it, I'm going back to try other things on the menu.

Great value, nice staff, excellent food. Don't drive away after seeing the storefront. Definitely worth going in!

While my husband has been here multiple times, it was my first - and might I say, I was pleasantly surprised. The exterior doesn't really say "come on in, the food is great" but give this place a chance - it is ! Our waitress was friendly & took great care of us, the food was great, and we enjoyed the low-key atmosphere.

I visited Acapulco while in town on Veteran's day. I had the shrimp and rice and it was delicious and could barely finish it as it was a large portion. I also loved their salsa dip. Everything tasted fresh and as good as any Mexican food I've had. The facility was neat and clean and the service was second to none. I will be returning the next time I'm in town.

Absolutely love this restaurant and the couple that operate it. Amazing service, portions, and prices. If you're in Leavenworth and looking for a good Mexican dish I will always recommend Acapulco Mexican Grill! You really get the best out of this restaurant when they're not busy, especially if its your first time, so try to avoid the lunch and dinner rush.
