The food is very delicious, and the atmosphere is fun. I love the retro movies.
I'm giving three stars because though they offer gluten-free food and ask if it is by choice or for medical purposes, the last time I ate there, I became ill. I'd like to go back, but three day's worth of sickness is not worth one burger, no matter how tasty, so I'm keeping my distance for now.
If you have no dietary restrictions, I heartily recommend you eat there!
We stopped by on the road, based on reviews. It did not disappoint. We ordered the classic and burnt end subs with sweet potato fries. Everything came fresh, hot and delicious. We plan to stop another time.to try the burgers.
The food is made to order when ordered, so it can take a little while to get your order, especially since they are a little under staffed. The wait was worth it though. I had a Jayhawker sandwich, which I will gladly recommend to anyone who likes avocados.
I enjoyed some fresh French fries too. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They are also thicker than your average fast food place, which makes eating them one at a time more enjoyable.
The staff was definitely staying busy, no standing around playing on cell phones when there is work to do. They all seemed pleasant as well. Which impressed me because we were eating a very late lunch and they must have been running full tilt for hours.
I am certainly going to have to go back and sample more of their sandwiches.
We stopped in based on the reviews and it was delicious!!! I had Oh Em Gee burger and my husband had the Reuben Po Boy made with their own Creole mustard. This place is worth a detour. So good we bought t-shirts!!!
They are always friendly. Their sauce is pretty hot. I dipped a wing in their Insanibee sauce and immediately realized this is the hottest restaurant sauce I have had. It took me a bit longer to eat all the wings with that sauce, but was worth it! If you have not trained yourself to eat hot stuff such as Reaper or Ghost pepper, you may not be ready for this.
