    We live nearby in Downs, so the cafe in Tipton is very convenient to have a meal out. My wife & I split a chicken fried steak supper between us. A great tasting chicken fried & big enough to satisfy both of us. One of those would be more than I would wish to eat by myself. The meal came with two sides, so each of us had a baked potato. Our potatoes were done perfectly. This is a place that serves Midwestern comfort food in a small town atmosphere. The seating is a combination of booths & tables. There is a second large room with a bar area with a TV. Lastly, the prices are reasonable. Just a nice clean place to get a good meal.

    5 stars to the chicken fried steak and the hand made hash browns! Nice staff too!

    I liked it. I had a BLT and fries, with an ice tea. It was really good. Very nice people. I don't think I could over emphasize how nice these people are. Kansas is a hidden gem. Don't forget to check out the auctions and shops at this little crossroad in the middle of nowhere. Sometimes you just like something because you like it

    Great chicken Fry steaks more than one person can eat by themselves. Super fresh salad bar. Cheap! Cheap!

    Pleasantly surprised. It is much bigger than it looks from the street. Great food, good service and reasonable prices. Will be going back, soon!
