    This is is a nice place to check out for some good food. The service is friendly and efficient. The food was really tasty and fresh. Great value for the prices.
    Went by again today and had another great lunch.

    Looks small… this once was the oldest Burger King. So it is a little small in there. I would highly recommend getting there early. Very clean… We ordered large cheese dips & they were actually large not like other places we have gone a large is the size of a finger dish. Large potion & priced right. I would highly recommend Maia’s if your looking for authentic Mexican food. The sauce they bring to the table isn’t hot at all so you might want to ask for spicy sauce if that is what you are wanting.

    So nice we ate here twice! This is my grandmother's favourite Mexican restaurant in Independence. The portions are great and everyone is super helpful and super friendly!
