Wonderful service. Meals served timely, hot, and fresh. Prices and portions were just right. We stayed awhile to chat and we're never rushed to leave (it was close to closing time). Make sure to order a slice of pie and browse the gift shop!
It was a nice place. I expected the food to be outstanding. The staff was great. But I won't be driving out of my way for it again. The CF Steak tasted like a prebattered frozen steak. I was very disappointed. The brown gravy didn't taste like a gravy. The cinnamon rolls & pies brought up the score. Sorry!
Wonderful food and courteous service. I had the grilled chicken and the sweet potatoes it was delicious! My husband had the pork chops and was delighted. My daughter had the catfish and was pleasantly pleased. Look forward to going back. Taking home some of the huge cinnamon rolls!
This place is pretty good, but it's personally not that great. It just feels like a cracker barrel feel but less decorated? But the pies are really good; rich if anything, and their mini gift shop is cute. When we went, they only had like 5 pie selections and we couldn't order like half of the pie menu. Overall its a good but not amazing place, price isn't too bad for what they offer. Definitely worth a visit though!
It was Thursday so Bison was the special menu item. I chose the American burger. They also have home made bread for the table. The service was fast and friendly. Our food came out quickly. It was very good. If you have not tried bison before give it a try here.
