I enjoyed my work dinner here. It’s tapas style small plates and we shared a bunch of yummy, eclectic, diverse dishes. They do have quite a few vegetarian options (and they are labeled) but not many vegan options. The cocktails looked great too (I didn’t have one) - my coworker’s holiday old fashioned was delish!

As you would expect the menu has an extensive selection of bourbon. The cocktail menu is divided between "Signature" and "Bourbon Road", they do have a nice selection of cocktails if bourbon isn't your taste. I tried the Green Tea Highball and the Cuke Refresher; they were both made very well and tasted amazing!
I really like how they set up their menu and portions and prices. They have the menu items devided by small plates and big plates. The small plates are basically sample sized portions so you can enjoy more of the menu. It's similar to a Tapas bar in Spain. My friend and I shares several small plate dishes and they were all excellent! Great presentation and packed with flavor.

Coming to Bourbon and Baker is always an experience. The menu is always changing and everything is quite flavorful. They have main entrees and what I really like most, they are big on tapas. So their small plates are filling but still allow you try some more of their options. And if you’re like me you like trying a little bit of everything. I’ve tried cocktails, beer, and just straight up liquor and their variety on alcohol alone is satisfying. Everyone here is welcoming and gives a plethora of suggestions whether it’s a drink or something to munch on. This place isn’t large so sometimes it can get pretty busy but so far the times I have been there I was able to get seated relatively fast. And if you still have room after all that booze and taste testing, you have dessert . I have tried one of their monster cookies, pudding, and the lovingly scrumptious cake. Give this a try even if you are passing through town or are a townie yourselves. Some of their options will be familiar, but trust me, they will have their own spin on it and it’s even better than expected. Don’t hesitate!

The Brussels sprouts, asparagus fries, burnt ends pb&j, and black eyed pea hummus were phenomenal. The duck tacos weren’t that great so I don’t recommend those. Service was fast and servers were kind. The sidecar was delicious as well!!

The food here was indeed delicious, my only critique would be the small serving sizes. I was still a little hungry after the big boy chicken and waffles. My wife was good after the ribs. She did say they were not soft, rather dry and tough but sauce was delicious. The environment looked pretty and made me think of like a speak easy or a 20s bar environment. It was so loud inside that if we wouldn't have sat next to each other at the bar, we would not have heard each other. The music seems like good choices however between the music and the customers voices, it makes it very difficult to hear anyone. I would recommend people check it out cause it is nice, it's just a little louder than what I would prefer. If it was a bar, ok or if it was a restaurant, ok but it is a little mix of both. Great food and a bit pricey.
