Early Edition

Really disappointed in the service today. We ordered carry out and did not receive our complete order. We had to return to restaurant. The remaining food was cold, no offer to remake food that had been sitting on counter and no apology for the inconvenience of having to make a second trip to the restaurant. Also did not give syrup or butter for food we did get. This makes me sad as Early Edition used to be one of my favorite places to eat.
UPDATE: I received a call from the manager today apologizing for the service difficulties we had. She offered to treat us to lunch to make up for the breakdown in service and communication. This is how you do business! Thank you, Amber. Changing my review to the 5 stars this business deserves!

LOVE this place. Great food great service. Very clean and spacious. A great place for breakfast.

This place was great! This was the best diner steak I think I've ever had. It wasn't a paper thin slice AND they know how to cook a medium rare. I will say they're a bit skimpy on the sides (potatoes with the egg & steak wre pretty lite and the gravy on the biscuits barely covered each biscuit). Taste wise it was great and the service was good too. We'll definitely end up back there.

If your looking for a home cooked meal; breakfast from here is the perfect choice. The food portions, presentation are absolutely delicious. I ordered the waffle combo, with bacon, scrabbled eggs and potatoes. What a treat and the prices were even lower than other restaurants in the area. I love the long standing local community restaurant and the service because you know you will be cared for and they that is provide a meal and service that you want to return and experience. I am so full, and so grateful for the many breakfast meal choices.

I ordered the stuffed strawberry French toast and my husband ordered The Colonel with over easy eggs. We were both happy with our order. We drive from JC and we have been to both locations and by far the one on Kimball was great. The waitress was very friendly and considerate. The staff we came in contact with were also friendly. I don't know her name but she was sweet and helpful. Will be returning to this location the next time.
