Amazing barbeque. Felt like eating at their home name fits experience perfectly. I would recommend to anyone stopping by Fort Riley.
Outstanding. Got the sampler, which had brisket, sausage, ribs, chicken and pulled pork. Had a side of green beans and potato salad. It was fantastic and so were the sauces. The place is really nice, too, as are the owners. They do it all themselves. I hear the shrimp etouffe is good, but I was full. Wish I had stopped here sooner and I will definitely be back.
I got a lot of food for the price. The sample platter is 10.50 and comes with ribs, chicken, pork, brisket, rib tips and a hot link. Two homemade sauces complinent the meats very well and the sides were good too. Smoked mac and cheese was cheesy and delicious
I was looking for a local BBQ place to take the family and boy did we find one. There is a reason they are rated so highly for there food. I love supporting local businesses especially when they provide such a great experience. Jimmy greeted us as we walked in and was very polite. I sampled the smoked ribs, smoked rib tips, potato salad and finished it off with some sweet potato pie. The BBQ Sauce is made in house and the food was very delicious. Well seasoned and the ribs have a great bite. I would definitely recommend stopping by and giving it a try. But!!! You don't have to take my word for it.!!!
Got the meat sampler to get the best taste of this place, not only is it fairly priced the BBQ is tastes great. Will definitely be going back to this place and I strongly recommend it. The mustard sauce is the best I have had out of all the BBQ joints I have tried.
