The food was a bit on the super salty side. But the server was awesome. He was friendly and funny.

Wonderful place to eat. If you like real home cooking, the fried chicken is hard to beat. Service was outstanding. You know if the locals eat there, it has to be good. Big menu selection. Stayed at The Lodge and it was great. We need to support these local people versus the chains all the time.

2 of us got the buffet $13 each, excellent value. I ordered the Denver omelet with hashbrowns and "dollar cakes" $11. They were full sized pancakes! Down home atmosphere, friendly and quick service.

Good hometown dining experience. Great place for brunch. They have really good chicken and waffles, but they don't realize they have good chicken and waffles so you have to order a waffle and Chicken separately and combine them yourself.

Very good food and a wonderful server (Lauren). We had the buffet.they do shut the buffet down at 14:00 to get ready for the dinner buffet at 16:00. They were super nice and made sure we had all we wanted before tearing it down (they also asked other people as well). If you have coffee,you will have a carafe brought to you so you never run out. The buffet cost $12.95 and included the cost of tea or coffee. Items on the buffet were the normal chicken,mashed potatoes and gravy,vegetables (fried okra when we were there). The day we stopped (today they also had taco fixings and vegetable soup.the salad bar had three different cold desserts on it and plenty of salad fixings. Also,pasta salad, bean salad,and a seafood salad. Best part for us was that they have big truck parking out back!
