Nice out of the way Diner just right outside of Salina. Wonderful small town atmosphere😃! Great food is a reasonable price😃! I had the French dip sandwich it was very excellent and made to order. Waitress was attentive and got us refills to drink and was very attentive during our meal experience. Great great food I've come here before but I never got a chance to leave a review I will be back here again. If you want to get out of Salina and not go to the typical restaurants and not go too far out of town this is the place to eat in the town of gypsum the exit 14 restaurant! I highly recommend it😃
I had the Jalapeno Cheeseburger daily special. 7.99$. Fryer oil was fresh and the tots were crispy. Classic small Town cafe. Everything was good. Milk shakes and pie available for dessert. Family run restaurant. Prime rib on Saturday nights is something I'd be interested in trying.
The service and staff were friendly. The food was excellent except for the chicken fried steak had way too much grissle. I left a good part of it in several napkins! Maybe it was just my steak? Super nice people! I probably will not order a chicken fried steak again? I would almost bet that all the other burgers and salads are very good!
The Service is great and the locals are friendly. The cafe billowed with the aroma of home style chicken in the air. This time we tried a Ruben and a simple cheeseburger and fried pickles. The Ruben is made with fine shaved corned beef. Wonderful portion size not too much sauce. I would rate it above average. The hamburger was juicy and not over cooked. The fried pickles were slightly seasoned with a slight heat. The heat is barely noticeable. They had a pie selection we shared a Reese’s pie not better than homemade but satisfied our sweet tooth. The pop is by the can. Very Inexpensive cafe. My rating would be between a 3.5 and a 4. Definitely worth stopping if you are in the area. Will come back for one the specials.
We went to the Saturday prime rib special. Perfectly cooked, a very large portion of meat, baked potato/sweet, vegetable, dinner roll, and salad bar. Last Saturday of the month only.
