Amazing place, amazing food. That's all that needs to be said.
The service is impeccable and the food is amazing! You must try the S'mores cheesecake.... so delicious!
We were visiting Salina for a funeral. Arrived about an hour before the funeral was to start so decided to visit Blue Skye again after our great experience here last fall. We ordered the andouille sausage pizza to share. Thin and crispy crust cooked in a wood fired oven. Nice flavors. I wish I could write a description for you, but I don't recall everything that was on it. I recall spinach similar to a pesto sauce. It was really good. The menu is large with varieties of pizza, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and more items to choose from. The restaurant advertises its beer, but I'm not a beer drinker, so I can't tell you anything about that.
Our beverage and food order was taken right away. Our pizza was brought to us in less than 15 minutes which was really good because we were on a tight schedule. I wish there was one closer to Topeka. I would enjoy lunch here more often than once a year. Waitstaff was very friendly. Food is good.
We had a one night stop over in Salina and asked the desk clerk in our hotel for brew pub suggestions. He said Blue Sky was top on his list so we checked it out. Eight o'clock Saturday night was pretty crowded but we got a table. Nice menu but we went for pizza which was great. And the real reason we went - beer! They have a short list but you should find one you like. We tried their IPA and their Red. Next time we're in Salina we'll definitely go back.
A surprising cool little brewery in this small town. Worth a stop. Friendly staff, good wood fired pizzas, which included a cauliflower crust option, different sauces if you aren't into red, and all the normal toppings. My daughter loved the cauliflower crust with spinach and tomatoes on top. The B-17 Blonde beer was perfect for those light beer drinkers like myself. About 5 more options for you beer nerds out there too!
