Chiang Mai Thai Restaurant

This is THE place for Thai food in Wichita. It's a little off the beaten path, but worth the side quest. They're very helpful with choosing food if you're wanting to try something new.

I can't tell you exactly how many Thai food restaurants I've been to, but it's safe to say well over a hundred, and I've got to admit that it was the best Pad Thai I've ever had. No really. Most of the other Pad Thai dishes I've had, I really enjoyed, but, almost always, they're slightly too sweet. This was seasoned perfectly. Some peeps mentioned that the location was shady, but I didn't feel that way, I've been to many more shady locations in Wichita, but I may be impartial, because I only live 5 minutes away. The prices were amazingly affordable, and I am very excited to try more of their menu. The iced coffee was fine, not the best I've had, but it works. I don't like the idea that they don't offer a take out menu, but it seems that many other restaurants no longer offer them, which is a shame. But hey, the food is what matters most, and that part is on point, along with the amazing wallet friendly prices. I will be back many more times, after all, there's many more items I need to eat my way through, and this place seems like it would be a great place to do that at, considering their Pad Thai.

Food is so fresh and tasty. Authentic thai food, customer service on point. Decor is outdated .

Flavorful Thai at it's best, Papaya salad was sweet and strong, red curry was warm and wonderful and spring rolls with peanut sauce was a perfect starter. Homey and quaint, Cant wait to return
