Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

First time trying Freddy's. If you are familiar with steak and shake, it is very similar but better. They were fast and clean. Not my favorite burger place but the staff was quick and food was fresh.

We ♥️ Freddy's! Hands down, the BEST Burgers & Fries in the world. Their Fry Seasoning is DELICIOUS! And, if that's not enough, just wait for DESERT ???? The most creamy, flavorful custard I've ever had. Thanks Freddy's! WE ♥️ YOU!!!

If you order the cheese fries, ask for it to come in the to-go box! The cheese will soak through the paper, which then gets torn to shreds by your fork, even if your being careful. I might've eaten some saucy paper today. *shrugs* oh well.

Otherwise, a great visit. Not too busy, so no wait. Quick service all around. Great taste for a cheap treat. As others have mentioned, the fry sauces are bomb. A touch of the jalapeno sauce adds a great flavor to the creamy nacho cheese without a lot of heat; it's like a the warm summer sun tickling your shoulders, but for your taste buds.

*Also, none of this is meant to criticize the employees. They were simply doing what they were asked and working with what they were given by management. An employee was very quick to get me a to-go box to help with my order.

The custard here is absolutely amazing. I will often stop by just for custard but their food is exceptional as well. They exude a classic diner feel so well and their steak burgers are really top notch. I highly recommend the cheese fries too!

Hadn't tried Freddy's during Lent. Emily was so friendly (I didn't want a combo but when I added ice cream sandwiches at the end she knew that would qualify me and automatically added my total up as combos, thereby saving me 50 cents per sandwich). I also accidentally ordered to eat in rather than take home, but Tyler was so friendly and accommodating to switch out my order to go. Then Emily can back with a sack for my ice cream sandwiches so they could be separate from the hot food during my drive. Almost didn't make it home, the smell was so captivating! Great service, great food, friendly smiles, clean restaurant.
