Las Catrinas Mexican Restaurant

My partner and I had a delicious dinner, our food was hot and tasty. Their salsa was fabulous! I had the enchilada and taco combination and I couldn’t finish it because I filled up. Will certainly be back!

I ordered the same dinner item as I previously had ordered 3 weeks ago with the same wait staff person. This time there was no rice or beans with my meal. In a plesant voice, I asked the waiter if last time was a mistake or this time. This was not a big deal, I just wanted to know for future reference but I was not expecting a confrontational response. This made the rest of our meal time unplesant. I know everyone has a bad day and people can be demanding, no matter where you work and that is fine. It's just customers want to enjoy their time when dining out and bad experiences can hurt business. I worked my way through college as a waitress and I value and generously tip wait staff. I also expect wait staff to treat me with the same respect.

I had two corn crispy tacos, beans, rice and a side salad. The chips were too salty and the salsa was made from pizza sauce. The tacos were excellent and unlike many tacos in the city had a generous amount of lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes. The rice was a special Mexican rice. All and all, I would recommend a try and would come back.

First thing I noticed when entering....everything was squeaky clean (even the glass door) and a bit upscale!! Great meal... beautiful presentation! You will want to try this place soon. Cilantro rice with enchiladas- never had it before!

New favorite Mexican restaurant!! Love it, go there you will not regret it!! Great food great prices great service
