Las Islas Marias

Food was awesome! Large menu selection, just wish they had a bit more to pick from than all seafood! Im not bilingual so communication was a little difficult as well! Love the shrimp enchiladas!

Very suprising dinner. From the outside this restaurant appears to be another dive. I recommend venturing in. Had the oyster spicy app. I would say best oysters I've had in the city. Shared sea food dish for 2. Shrimp oysters and octopus. We absolutely loved everything we tried and we intend on going again. Only reason I gave a 4 star server was to busy watching tv.

This was our first time at Las Islas Marias, but it certainly won't be our last! The specialty at Las Islas Marias is Mexican seafood, (mostly shrimp, but there are other shellfish as well as different kinds of fish, are on the menu as well) and they do it really well. They still have a lot of the "normal" Mexican stuff on the menu as well, so there's something for everybody. The really fun part was the love Mariachi band that was playing. (Don't know if that's an everyday thing or because it was friday night) But overall this was a great experience. If I had it to do over again, I would have ordered one of the soups; the table next to us ordered a soup and it looked sooo impressive! They brought out this HUGE bowl PILED up with shrimp and had crab legs sticking out of it! It looked amazing.
