Was glad to see Metro Grill back. Pasta Mia was excellent as was the Infamous BOB sandwich. A previous favorite was the roasted poblano cheddar soup/chowder. I loved it. Disappointed is an understatement for describing what I had yesterday. There was a quarter inch of oil floating on the top of what I brought home yesterday! If I’d have eaten my food at the restaurant I’d have pointed this out to the staff and asked for a refund but I was at home when ready to eat it. It was inedible & I had to discard it. I hope they solve this problem as it was my favorite dish on the menu.
Stellar food. Metro grill has always been about the food, and im glad to see that is still the case. I do wish that they had a viewable kitchen so that customers could watch them make the sandwiches, that was always part of the fun when they were at the Towne East mall.
I'm envious of the people that work nearby and can eat this for lunch whenever they want!
Philly Steak is amazing. Been a fan since the Towne East days. I make special trips out to Andover occasionally and supremely excited to have a Metro back in Wichita
Nice atmosphere and very kind and courteous staff. The Chicken Caprese was the best sandwich that our group had to eat. While the portions are on the small side, all the ingredients are fresh and delicious. My favorite was the Rosted Poblano White Cheddar soup. It was to die for.
This Metro Grill is not associated with the other Metro Grills in town. The one in Andover and one that has recently closed on the Waterfront.
HIGHLY Recommend. If you're looking for a good sandwich, look no further. This is the best kept secret on the west side of Wichita.
