Northrock Bar and Grill

Huge shout out to the server, Jennika (sp?), who helped us track down my son’s retainers hours after he mistakenly left them in a napkin on our table. She went above and beyond her job, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I wish she would’ve let us tip her more, she more than deserved it after what she went through to help us. Not only was the food great, but we were so impressed with the service. If you’re her boss, you’ve got a good one and she deserves a raise.

The pizza’s here a cheesy and amazing delicious. I love the good ole pepperoni pizza. Always hits the spot. Pizza and bowling? Perfect combo!

AJ's has typically been a great spot for pizza and bar food. We started with fried pickles and the garlic bread. The sauce was good, but the garlic toast was dense and tasteless. The bread was cut far too thick and seemed lazy in the approach. The fried pickles, thankfully, were appropriately crispy and well seasoned. Finally, the kiddo ordered a cookie and it was underwhelming. It was a tad over cooked and needed some ice cream or something to balance the flavors.

Luckily, the pizza remains food and the beer specials make it worthy of a return.
