Rene's Mexican Fast Food #2

If you have not been to Renes at pawnee and west st, I highly recommend it. Not a bad price and you get a good amount of food for it. The staff was friendly and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. Definitely going back soon 🙂

Gal at the front was VERY nice & allowed me a moment to check out their menu and cool off from the extreme heat outside.
She kindly asked if I wanted salsa and then directed me to where it's located. (Most places just point & grunt.)
Glad this new location was opened because it's easier while I'm on my way home to stop there as the other one is past my house.

The Rene's at 2424 West St. is a small family owner and run restaurant. It is very clean and they are very friendly and it smells wonderful when you walk in. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. Definitely not your normal fast food. Everything is cooked fresh to order and everything is flavorful. The amount of food that you get is well worth the 8 plus dollars that you will spend on your lunch. Oh, and don't forget the orchatta (not sure if I spelled this right) and churros. Rene's is a definite place to eat at and you can try something different every time you go in. You must try Rene's. I know we will most certainly be back.

Literally shocked at the amazing service at the window. Owner came up to me and she was VERY nice. She even gave me some extra fried peppers. That's some service! Food was hot and amazing! For sure coming back! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Best service I've EVER seen at renees. First visit was a success! Finally a location that cares about the customer experience. 👍👍

First timers to this location. Glad to have one as we are in the area quite often. We had two beef enchiladas and the chili relleno platter. The sauces were good and the menu is large enough that we will be back for more.
