Savute's | Italian Ristorante

I'm a little biased about this joint as my Mother's side of the family has been going here for birthdays since I was a pup. Savute's is an old school Italian joint with an aviator theme throughout. It almost feels pulled right out of a mob flick.

Pretty scarce in the way of vegetarian options unfortunately but for the meat eaters everything is amazing.

Cool atmosphere. The prices are great. The quality of food is not the best. The chicken was obviously a precut patty and the provolone was a little too much. They could easily change to fresh chicken breast and cook to order. The piece I had gave me the impression it had been steamed. I great they may just keep steamed chicken ready to go, this is not quality. Anyhow, the bread was good and the salad was refreshingly simple. I'll go back to try the steak, but won't hold out for any chicken dishes.

This place has good food and has cheap prices. It's a bit dated but the staff were very friendly and proud. The drinks were perfect and service was quick. Check out the bar's chairs, old aircraft seats... Haha, unique.

We enjoyed our evening here. They have cheaper steaks, but the medium rare steak I ordered was cooked better than almost any steak house I've been to. My wife got the manicotti and was very pleased. The building was busy so it took a while to get our order in with the waitress, but we'd still recommend it for a date night.

Wow what a find! I took Steve and Ted’s advice on Savute’s. The fried cheese is awesome! First time here and will return again even if it is on the other side of town.
