Taco John's

Good food, but confused, poor service.

I placed a curbside order (only two items) 90 minutes in advance. Upon arrival, there were no signs for curbside pickup, but I parked near the main entrance. No one showed up and then the Taco John’s app gave me a notice for checking in and said they’ll bring my order out to my car. 10 minutes went by and no one came out. I drove around the building to make sure I didn’t miss a place for curbside orders. There wasn’t one, so I went inside.

I asked the clerk about the curbside order that was “ready” 15 minutes ago. She looked confused at first and then was like, “oh the online order.” She couldn’t find it at first, but eventually did. She didn’t ask for my name or anything. Maybe they don’t get many curbside orders because they had no clue what was going on.

Maybe the app is partly to blame, but still, the service that I encountered here was very short and not very friendly.

I rarely eat out while traveling and due to my experience here, I’m not sure I would come back. The whole point of placing a curbside order was to limit interaction with other people and touching doors, etc.

I have always loved Taco John's back when I live in Colorado where it started in Cheyenne Wyoming even when I lived in South Dakota always been great place to eat just went to the drive-thru and it took a very long time but the manager compensated for the time took care of the bill what's great customer service and as always the food is spectacular.

I went super late last night, and the two quesadilla tacos were good seemed a little pricy for what you got in the taco but it was tasty especially with their bold salsa which had really good flavor. The potato’s were a game changer though they were delicious unfortunately they forgot to add on the cheese sauce, overall good experience I probably would go back!
