Pancake House

I am working in the area for a couple months, stopped in for breakfast and decided go try the potato pancakes. They were every bit as good as my mothers. Combined with a couple eggs and bacon and it’s a winning combination. The young waiter was definitely doing a great job. I will certainly recommend this place to my coworkers.

Always love breakfast here! We drive an hour to eat here. The food is always good. For breakfast anyway. I have never eaten anything but breakfast here. I really love the variety of pancakes and crepes.

Great stop on our journey for a hearty breakfast. Clean, fast, friendly service and they even have postcards! We had the eggs, bacon and potatoes. The bacon was thick, crispy and so tasty. The potatoes stole the show though. Freshly peeled, fried, and seasoned just right, just like at grandmas house! We had the pecan pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes and strawberry pancakes and they did not disappoint. What was disappointing was they weren’t serving their house special, the apple pancake that day. I was really looking forward to that. The coffee was also not bad and my cup stayed full.

The pancake capital in the USA. Liberal Kansas is know for their pancakes and the great wizard of Oz. Prior to Dorthy catching a ride on a tornado, she made sure to stop by at the pancake house for the long haul to the great world of Oz. My breakfast was delicious but the pancakes certainly need to live up to the expectation of greatness. Add carbonate water to the mix and see them rise to the occasion 😉
