45th Street

You should be eating here. The food is phenomenal. I have had quite a few meals here and they never disappoint. The kitchen makes just about everything from scratch. They have 45 beers on tap and a full bar. And the Karaoke nights are the most fun I have had here in Topeka. I love the atmosphere here. It's a very diverse crowd and everyone seems to know everyone. This place is locally owned and not a chain. That alone makes me come back. Additionally, 45th St looks like it is going to start picking up as a live music venue! That is really exciting!

Wonderful experience. Proprietor/ chef / owner (?) was very helpful with my wife's allergies, and all the staff was terrific. Food was really tasty. I had the voodoo gumbo. I must admit, having grown up on the Gulf Coast to the Cooking Cajun and the joy of good roux, I was expecting to dislike the red sauce of the gumbo. Had I been paying attention to the flavors that were there rather than the flavors I expected that were not, I would not have needed the chef to explain that she'd been trained in the Caribbean.

Wonderful food. Not a traditional Cajun gumbo but really worth eating. Definitely will go again.

Food and drinks are extremely high. Out of all of the domestic drafts, there was only Miller Lite left. They had two bathrooms, both of which were gender neutral which was horrible for my mother who went to use it and was welcomed with a toilet covered in urine. I really wanted this place to be better as it is close to where I live and would love to have a good place to go. The big plus is that they are very friendly.

We love the food and drinks, staff is very friendly! The atmosphere is awesome, a fun place to hang out! Lots of beer on tap and large selection of drinks! We will be back for sure!
