El Mezcal Restaurant

Love this place the fajita jalisco has steak, chicken, and shrimp, with rice beans and cheese, and guacamole, and lettuce great for dipping in the free chips .

Wow! Hard to believe that tonight was the first time we have been here, in at least 7 years. Not exactly what it was that turned us away, from here, but something did. Anyway, we decided to give it another try. Wife had the chicken Burrito Gigante. The only thing that bothered her, was the fact that the menu showed rice and beans on the plate, but hers were inside her burrito. All in all, though, she really enjoyed it. As for myself, I had the chili verde. The pork was super tender, and really tasty. The sauce was tangy and very flavorful. Yeah, we'll be back. There were too many other items I want to try.

El Mezcal is hands-down the best family dining experience I've ever had. The selection is what you're expect from a Midwestern Mexican restaurant, but a few traditional twists make it perfect. The staff is always polite even when they're ridiculously busy.

This will forever be a favorite spot for me! I love coming here on one of their margarita days/nights with my grandparents! Señor Alex is hands down the best waiter imaginable! We were so happy to grab a bite when y'all opened back up and saw those smiling happy faces, who have become such wonderful friends and perhaps even extended family to myself and my Grandparents!

Overall good experience. Quick service with drinks, chips and salsa, and food. Good food that I would describe as standard Mexican. Nothing out of this world, but also nothing terrible (at least not that I had) either. We would return again.
