If you ever plan to eat here, ask for CJ if he’s working while you’re there. Hands down the best server I have ever had at a restaurant. He was very helpful with stuff on the menu. He gave suggestions, was very respectful, and made our visit a great one. We had a group of 6 and he made sure we all had what we needed. He was outgoing and made jokes with us the whole time. I would suggest asking for him. Great guy and an even better server!

I had to buy a bottle of their signature sauce, it's just the right amount of everything., a little spice too it, but it evened out, to the perfect barbecue sauce. .. The atmosphere was very lively, as a sports bar should be, when we first arrived, they gave us a buzzer, and said that it would be about twenty five minutes before we were seated but actually ended up taking less then that, Now I m not much of a diehard sports fanatic, but this nice take my word.

First time visiting Johnny's Tavern. I did not enter with a high expectation, but I have to say it was surprisingly good. The staff was nice and friendly. The atmosphere was excellent and the music was spot on. The food was amazing. I had the Philly Cheese Steak with pub chips. It was the best non-Philadelphia Philly I have ever tasted. I would definitely recommend it and I will return to try something else. Try the Wilson's Sauce. It is BBQ sauce mixed with hot sauce... Delicious!
