Luciano's

Luciano's is more than a restaurant.
It would be difficult for me to put into words the paragon that this establishment truly is.
Luciano's offers more than authentic (and delicious) Italian cuisine. They offer a wholesome and educational place of employment for individuals of all backgrounds and walks of life. They offer a feeling of familial love and support to those who need it. They offer a home away from home and a caring aspect rarely seen in business.
It has been an honor to watch the growth and impact Luciano's has had on Mulvane's small town community and while there is the tendency for derision over "overpriced" pasta dishes, I encourage everyone to look past the menu at what Luciano's means to the community and the support they have provided over the years.
If you're a fan of from-scratch, genuinely nutritious foods designed and prepared with thoughtfulness and love, Luciano's is your place. Enjoy the pastas, salads, entrees and desserts in a clean, homey atmosphere and take note of what a precious gem this place is to a small community that could easily fall off the map like so many other small towns in Kansas.

We celebrate all of our family occasions at this restaurant. Always fantastic food and great service. Lately have gotten takeout and it’s enough for 2meals. Couldn’t do without my Luciano’s fix. .

Love the backstory of how this restaurant got started. It’s basically a love story and a dream come true for the chef/owner. Read about it on the menu. No joke!

Anyhow, my friends had made reservations for dinner at Luciano’s for my birthday. The hostess was friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server was kind and attentive. I ordered the sausage pasta and my goodness! It was absolutely hearty and delicious! For dessert, I had a key lime custard (I think that’s what it was) and it was on the house since it was my birthday. Very refreshing delightful treat to complement the sausage pasta I had.

If you’re ever wanting to go out to eat, I would highly recommend Luciano’s. It’s priced fairly, excellent and friendly service, and very tasty food! I can’t wait to go back for more!

This is an authentic Italian restaurant. Server was fantastic! She was very personable, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We went for the 1/2 option with pasta and salad. The food was fresh and superb. Finished it off with a latte and tiramisu. Both which were wonderful. Overall, the experience was great and we will be back. Thanks Luciano's!

Valentine’s Day. My husband and I arrived for a late lunch, after the regular lunch crowd and before the huge rush of romantic devotees. There was no one in the place, and the staff was prepping for the big night, but we were graciously accommodated. Since there’s a fixed, five-course menu for Valentine’s supper, what was left from lunchtime was pasta with either a meat sauce or a four cheese sauce. We both ordered the cheese sauce and received delicious plates of bow tie pasta with shredded carrot and tiny asparagus coins in the sauce. For dessert, we shared a small, round layer cake covered in chocolate ganache. So good.

We had the place to ourselves and a host and server who never seemed put out by our presence while they were getting the dining room ready for later. In fact, they were hospitable and once apologized for making noise while scooting a table.

I love this place; we’ve eaten here before for special occasions to us. I’ll keep coming back.
