El mescal mexican restaurant

1st time eating by recommendation of family. By far better than the other in town. Loved it, great waitress, great food. I recommend. I will visit again

Having grown up in Arizona and Southern California and having great Mexican food, I never expected food this good in Kansas.

This was the most delicious food I have had in a long time. We were both stuffed with the large portion we had, but we were very happy. If we are ever in this area again we know where we want to eat.

We never would have expected to get this great Mexican food in this state. I have lived most of my life in southern California and Phoenix, and so I know good Mexican food. And this is up there with the top Mexican restaurants that I have eaten at in my life.

We were finishing a trip and this made our day.

For a place that is off the beaten path, this place needs more traffic!!!!! My dish, the Hawaiian Chicken, had so much flavor on every bite my mouth was in orbit it was so happy. My tummy is pleasantly full, as well. They brought three different salsas with the chips. A mild red, a fiery red and a green. I fell in love with the green and would have married it. I want flavor not fire in salsa and it's flavor was unique and delicious. My hubby's dish, the happy pig, was just as yummy. (He shared and so did i) food came fast, but it was also past the lunch rush hour on a Sunday.
