“A new hidden gem in KC’s food truck scene. Street tacos! Had a Pastor, Asada, Buche (pork belly), and a Mandarin Jarritos. All three were delicious and the Buche was my favorite. Green salsa has perfect flavoring and the red has a good kick to it. Easy to get to, it’s on the north side of the I-35 and Lamar exit. Will be back to sample other menu items soon! “I waited for months for this to open up. In the end was disappointed. The fried fish basket was okay, the fish was over salty but good, the shrimp was excellent, it came with chicken strips which were absolutely terrible, dry over cooked tough things. The fries were awful and over cooked, how do you mess up Fries? Also tired the Fish Boil, thin sliced sausages were questionable as it was over cooked so had barely any flavor, corn was okay, tons of potatoes and about 14 shrimp... the entire thing was over seasoned and over cooked to hell. I wanted to like this place, really did but the boil was over priced and the fried platter was disappointing. One more thing to touch upon, the cups the sauce and dips came in were absolutely the funniest thing ever. Never in my life had I seen on a restaurant skimp so hard on sauce, the smallest little 1.5oz cups you couldn't even dip shrimp, much less fish into. I'll be honest, why go to Fish House over Krab Kings a bit further south? I'd rather deal with a slightly higher price and rude customer service for the way better food.”

The food is a mix of the Great Cafe style food, large servings and home town atmosphere adding in the daily or weekly specials being added. I would recommend that everyone should try to get there today if you are from outta town and continue to make it a regular stop if you are a local. We drive over 60 miles at least once a month or more to dine here. Thanks to the owner for such a great atmosphere and quality food.”

“Awesome little burger spot. We prefer Quickies over Paul's hands down. They fixed up the building very nicely and are always super friendly. And the food is fresh and presented well like an old fashioned burger joint. Our favorite place around here to eat. They also offer a few patio tables outside to sit and eat under a shaded umbrella. Definitely 5 stars for us :) Refreshing to have a good ole classic place like this.”

“The pizza was good but a little different from what you would expect. I do like cheddar and I may be wrong but I don't like cheddar as much on my pizza. Definitely a mozzarella blend is more preferred. However the pizza I had was well cooked the ingredients were tasty and everything about it was pretty good not the best at pizza I've ever had but pretty good. And the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean so overall a very good experience.”

“Support local! I ordered the Chixen Mini (1/4 lb). I added cheese and turkey bacon. Bread was soft. Very thin chicken, which I love! House made sauce had a slight kick, pretty good. Sandwich was the perfect amount, didn't feel overstuffed. There are several sandwiches up to over a pound. Ordered online and done quickly. Walk up window, but I ordered online. My meal was very affordable. Staff was friendly! Would suggest offering gluten free buns. Will definitely be back!”
