“Stopped by to try this place out, they only serve takeout or drive thru. The store was very clean with a small window to order through. The gentleman that took my order was very friendly. I got a Signature Burger with their BBQ seasoned fries and a drink. The burger was decent had great flavor slightly smokey taste but was small and a little pressed and well done for my liking. The fries were outstanding. I'm not sure what seasoning they out on them but it is a very sweet and smokey bbq seasoning salt. I will definitely try this place out again to explore the menu a but more”

“It’s my husband and I first time here. The workers greeted us as soon as we walked through the door. Got seated right away. Very nice environment and people. The food was amazing! We order steamed oysters, 1lb crawfish & 1lb shrimp along with a beer and cocktail drink which total up to be $62 only! Seafood was packed with flavor. We enjoyed our lunch time there. “We went here before the sporting KC game. It was great, right across the road, they let you park there during the game. The food was very quick, basically you only had to wait a few minutes in line, then a few minutes while they got your food. The food overall was fairly good, we like the ribs and pulled pork, the sausage was the softer kind which I don’t like as much. Fries were good, some of the other sides weren’t as good. Overall, we would likely go back”

“First day doing the #KCKTacoTrail. Stopped at El Jefe and it is SO GOOD! 💯 recommend! Quesobirria taco was the best I've had yet - crispy, meaty, perfect pull to the cheese. The red salsa is like my aunt Rosie's (🔥) and the frijoles charros like my aunt Jesse's. I am obsessed. It's a tiny spot. Service is friendly. Restrooms are gender neutral. Prices are great.”

“Old drive-in serving authentic Mexican and American foods. There's no seating inside and only one table outside. The service was friendly and the food was excellent! It's also a very cost efficient meal. They could stand to up their game on napkins, they just give you a few thin little cocktail napkins even though the food can get messy. The only other thing they should improve is the seating. There's room for at least one more table outside, and it would definitely get use. I certainly want to go back and try the burgers though! This time we tried the street tacos and the burrito el amigo, which were both super good and the burrito was HUGE.”
