The Dog Pound

We were down for Jellystone and stopped by for some lunch with our family of seven. What a wonderful experience it was! Everyone was so friendly and very engaging even with the kids. We have had a long weekend, so there were a few grumpy faces when we got there. However none were to be seen when we walked away. The food was amazing! It was so good! The price was good and the service amazing. The atmosphere however was the best part. We loved looking at all the decor and writing on the ceiling. Thank you all so very much for a wonderful experience. We know it's hard dealing with such a big group and was pleasantly surprised with how well you were able to handle us. We will be back soon! Hopefully we will see you in our neck of the woods too! Thanks so much.

While staying at the hotel we saw the Dog Pound across from the parking lot and at first did not think too much of it. It is not very large. Wanting a little something for dinner and reading of their homemade meat products and friendly staff we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. The owner is super friendly and JoJo was a super host. A nice change and great fast and friendly restaurant. Limited indoor seating with additional outdoor seating.

My boyfriend and I stopped here during our cross country drive from Pennsylvania to Arizona! The owner of The Dog Pound is incredibly kind, welcoming, and caring! We had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! I highly recommend stopping here!

Great hot dog place! Has several good variations of America's favorite dog. Also has Hamburgers and Barbecue sandwiches. Owners are very nice. The prices are reasonable.

An absolutely excellent experience. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and I loved the food.

I ordered a menu Chicago dog and special ordered a Carolina Slaw Dog (chili dog with slaw and diced onion) and was very impressed with the flavor and overall quality of the hot dogs and toppings.

The location is easily accessible from 65 North or South. I will definitely come back when I'm traveling through and will recommend to friends, family and coworkers as a great stop for a quick bite.
