Bucky Bees BBQ of Glasgow

I'm in chain food hell in Glasgow. I live in LA but from OK. I'm in KY working, and everyone kept saying to try "A Little Taste of Texas". Growing up in OK, I'm familiar with TX BBQ. When I travel, I want something different. This place knocked it out of the park! I don't know if it's KY BBQ or not, but it was great! I got the pulled pork platter with green beans and Mac and cheese, and thisbis one of the best places Glasgow has. It was 2 pounds of food for $13 and it was amazing. Definitely recommend, because this place is lacking places like this. This place is very good, and the prices are insanely low in comparison to other BBQ, as well as restaurants in general. I will start off by saying Wow! Hands down have had multiple experiences at this location that could be described as nothing short of wonderful. First of all the servers keep up with everything quick and professional while still providing a “you’re part of our family” atmosphere. The hostess when approached greets you with a heartwarming smile and seats you accordingly without a wait. The pulled pork potato and nachos are a thing from the heavens. Brisket and shoulder are wonderful as well. The wings are crispy and fresh super flavorful crust. Ribs literally fall off the bone and are juicy and always taste like they came right out of the smoker. Mac and cheese is creamy and has plenty of cheese and the best side I have had is the smoked cabbage which has bacon cooked in it. Haven’t had a single bad experience here and I’ve been about 8-10 times. I’ve tried BBQ from all over and this is one of the top places to stop at for me now. Last part I will touch on is the sauce I love the amount of options they have for sauce for the meals. Love the fact that they leave full bottles of sweet and spicy sauce on the table” super convenient “ they also have a few other sauces in the back such as granny b’s and stinger sauce. I like them all and they compliment the pork brisket and ribs very well. The only thing I wish they had was a solid vinegar spicy sauce for the shoulder. The stinger sauce has vinegar base but it is partially like the creamy sauce. Love the atmosphere highly recommend!

Delicious pulled pork sandwich… quite big, plenty of meat! fries are thick crinkle cut, if I got them again I would ask for extra crispy but that’s just me😊 glad for another nice restaurant in Glasgow and will be back!

The cave city location is better. The newer style baked mac n cheese they are doing wasn't very good. It tasted sour to me, was more black than yellow, and was so very dry. The texas toast had more moisture than the mac n cheese, lol. The old style mac n cheese they used to have was very good. Never been to place that does chopped brisket, it tasted more like a pot roast to me than brisket. I was expecting sliced brisket from a bbq place, texas style! Soda machine needed the syrup replaced. Great sauces though, the spicy is the best I've had!
