Beehive Augusta Tavern

Visited with my wife recently for a weeknight dinner and found a beautifully renovated building and modern interior in Augusta KY! We were greeted with warmth and welcome and shown to an upstairs table for two. We asked to sit outside on the balcony--no problem. The wait staff was professional and attentive. For starters, I ordered a classic Manhattan on the rocks and received an Old Fashioned (odd, but still delicious). On recommendations from locals, my wife ordered the pork chop, with the glaze on the side (good thing as she did not care for the glaze). The chop by itself was delicious. I ordered the smoked pork ribs which were not the best I've had. I did not care for the sauce and wish I to had ordered mine without. True BBQ should not require sauce for taste and I have the feeling these ribs would have been better with no sauce. Overall though, a great evening atop the balcony, watching the Ohio River Ferry at work while we ate. Very nice and highly recommended.

Love the new Bee Hive! Great service, tasty menu, fun bar and super cool restaurant. They also do breakfast on weekends which is amazing. This will be your new favorite place.

Amazing! Service was fantastic, everyone was so friendly and the food - oh my goodness, just too good. The food was so good that no one even spoke during our meal - we were just too focused on enjoying everything! The menu may be on the small side but that is because they do those dishes perfectly as opposed to a place with a huge menu and blah food. The restaraunt has been completely remodeled and it is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere is great for any occasion from family gatherings to romantic dinners. You will not regret coming here for lunch or dinner. And stick around to see what is going it town. It's too cute down there! We will be returning here again and again.

I took an early Saturday trip out of Cincinnati to go visit Augusta, KY and the Beehive Tavern ended up being the best part of our day trip, even though we did not know it was their or plant to visit the restaurant. This was one of the better dining experiences I have had in several months and would recommend the Beehive to anyone.

They are a quaint upscale restaurant situated in a historic newly renovated building directly on the riverfront in Augusta. The service was incredible, I have a severe dairy allergy and there was no shortage of options or the kitchen offered to create a custom meal.

We only visited for lunch but both lunch and dinner menu looked great. This will be a hot spot during the summer as they offer a lovely river overlook patio with seating as well.

Superb and over the top service! Thursday around 530 pm is great night to reserve. Loved they sat us right next to window with beautiful view of the Ohio river. Can't say enough about Olivia our waitress, Rob, Cat and Devon who run the Beehive. The rehab of the place is exquisite. The overall vibe is you feel part of it. Very welcoming. The salmon dinner was a ten. The desserts we shared were out of this world decadent. Loved the variety of local beer and wine. Highly recommend!
