The Keg in Murray

Great service, great food, and an overall great experience! We came here for lunch on a Friday and it was extremely busy. Our glasses were ALWAYS filled, our food came out in a timely manner, and our waiter was incredible!

What a lucky find!! White beans better than my mom made and steaks cooked better than places where I've paid three times more.

My wife and I were passing thru Murray and The Keg was close to our motel. We're glad we found it.

It's a casual brew pub atmosphere. Our server Katie was great. Our order was taken right away. Cold drinks, food served hot and within a reasonable time. Everything was delicious, especially the BBQ pulled pork I ordered.

One thing they could improve: You can either pay at the table or at the checkout counter, but it looked like they only have one register. So, the servers were standing in line there to handle payments for guests who paid at their table, and customers stood in line to pay at the counter. It appeared they could use at least one more register.

Overall a very good meal and experience.

The Keg is my new jam in town. It’s got a great New Orleans flair to it- especially the beautiful, hand-painted bathroom mural!

Love their lunch specials. The food is always hot and fresh and the service staff is a friendly added bonus. Prices are great especially for lunch plates. I love the fried green tomatoes and their cream corn is so good. I always thought I hated cream corn until I had it fresh made.

Definitely recommend this place. I’ve never been on a weekend night but I imagine it’s a great date night spot.

Possibly the BEST place to eat in Western Kentucky. Red fish, salmon and shrimp dishes are awesome. Great steaks. Great ribs. Friendly service. We love The Keg. Very generous portions.
