Buckhead Mountain Grill

Sat outside as it was a nice day on the river. Saw the River Queen sailing down. Great food and large portions. I ate salad with chicken and green fried tomatoes. Fast, courteous wait staff.

I have had two polar opposite food experiences eating here. Both times the service provided was great. The first meal I had was wonderful. I ordered there fried chicken. It was juicy and had wonderful flavor. My second experience I had a Grilled Chicken Breast with pineapple. It was dry and overly salty. The sides were good on both occasions. It is still a nice restaurant with a nice outside deck and a great view of the Ohio River.

It's a beautiful place to eat. We enjoy the sights of the Ohio River out the window and off the deck. Food is good and not overly priced. Employees are nice and it's clean. Also if you have a Caesars reward credit card you can get rewards credits for eating there and using it

You can't go wrong at Buckhead! The rolls with cinnamon butter are amazing! I've had multiple things here over the years and have never had a bad meal. If it's nice out they have a huge patio in back that overlooks the river.

This is a very good place to eat. Chili was very good. Meatloaf was also very good. The outside view of the river was great, as was the wait staff. The pricing was very reasonable. Even the other customers were friendly and engaging. I actually spent 2.5 hrs there, simply watching the ballgame and chatting with the other patrons. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was that the food was not truly superb, which is my criteria of giving a place 5 stars. Every thing was very good...just not great...where I just HAVE to go back. But, make no mistake, I will go back...after trying other places along the river.
