Mokka and the Sunset Bar and Grill

First visit. Nice place. Food was great with a nice variety of options.

It was our first time there. We were seated quickly and served drinks and our breakfast order was done in a timely manner but it went downhill from there. Not sure if the waitress was new but she didn't check on us for at least 1/2 he only after we flagged her down. It's now an hour into being there and still no food. I tracked down the manager or owner, not 100% sure on that, informed her of the situation whereby she got on the issue right away. She came to our table with some baked snacks until our food arrived, reiterated how sorry she was and welcomed our complaint about the service. She told us if no ones says anything they can't improve their service so it's always best to let them know. She was so sorry for the mishap that she forgave our total bill and brunch was on them. Now once we got food, it was terrific! Everyone in our party was satisfied with the dishes they ordered. I will recommend this restaurant because the food is really good but some mentoring of staff may be in order to create better service.

As I flipped through their menu, I realized that I have only ever been to Mokka for breakfast/brunch, and have always been impressed. I ordered the Santa Fe frittata this morning, which came with a side of potatoes or fruit. Great flavor, good size for the price. Their coffeecake of the day (today was a peach and cinnamon) is always incredible. Baked just right to be sweet, gooey and delicious. Great spot!

I was greeted by friendly employees. I had a beer that was very cold. Food was correctly prepared and tasted great. Very accomadating servers as well. Relaxing afternoon lunch. Pricing was appropriate, not too expensive but I'd say average for good food. would recommend.
