Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park

I would have given it 5 stars if the rooms had microwaves in them. Otherwise, the rooms were great and the staff helpful.

Nice little place to visit; however, next time we would like to take the kids. It would be nice if the pool had a shaded area to get out of the sun, but this probably controls the traffic at the pool. Trails were a lot of fun. Some of the historical signs need to be replaced. Tanner station was a nice feature as well.

The campground is really nice. The only recommendation I will make to RV/TRAILER campers is to have at least a 50' electrical cord for your power. The sites are very large and the electric boxes are a little further away than most campgrounds. Other than that, very nice place.

Very interesting history! Volunteer at the Museum was very helpful. Wish it hadn't been raining so we could have explored some more.

If you're looking for a quick hiking experience with easy trails that can be done all in a day, this is the place for you. I recommend stopping by the museum and learning a little history about Blue Lick first before you walk the trails. It also has camping and a swimming pool.
