Carter Caves State Resort Park

Very awesome, my first time here and Carlie the guide for the cave was damn good hope I spelled her name correctly. The tour was very reasonable priced however as a heads up you will be doing walking and climbing stairs. Loved it

This is a beautiful state park. Good well kept campgrounds, amazing geological area, and 3 beautiful hiking trails. It's a hidden treasure, showcasing the best of eastern Kentucky. The staff was very helpful also. Always willing to help.

Great Sunday buffet. Salads bar, 4 meats and a vegetable bar. Yummy desserts. You have to try the warm banana pudding and cobblers with ice cream. Great view of the outdoors. Nice front porch on the lodge for socializing.

If you want an adventure schedule a tour with Wesley & Mason. They took our troop through several caves and many challenges with an amazing time. They were informative, helpful and showed us a good time while ensuring we were always safe. Everyone had a great day & were muddy & exhausted by the end of the day. Thanks again to Wesley for a wonderful experience & the rest of the friendly staff @ Carter Caves. Very nice campsites as well, very well kept.

We visited Carter Caves to do some hiking, we hiked the Three Bridge Trail. The trail was pretty strenuous and had breathtaking views. There were lots of up and downs, rocky and rough in spots. The landscape was beautiful. Welcome center was small and had a few cute souvenirs. Restrooms were closed there but open at the lodge. We had the lunch buffet at the lodge restaurant, and it was delicious. Good home cooked meal with helpful friendly staff. I highly recommend the restaurant and the hiking trails. I'm excited to go back and explore the caves.
