Amanda's Cupcake Cafe

First time going. Decided on a bacon grilled cheese sandwich. It was good and thoroughly cooked. Could use a little decor but overall a great experience and friendly.

My fiance and I just recently moved to Hopkinsville from Clarksville. Almost immediately we ventured downtown to try to find the good food/coffee spots. On a late night run to a nearby burger shop, we noticed the sign across the street for Amanda's Cupcake Cafe. We looked it up, and added it to our list of stops based on the positive reviews.

We finally made it in for breakfast today, and Amanda did not disappoint! The inside space is impressive large and open, very deceiving from the outside. Amanda is extremely personable and engaging. The menu for breakfast, and for lunch is very impressive for a small place like this.

We both ordered Caramel White Mochas (mine with an extra shot of espresso). I am not a coffee drinker, while my fiance is. We were both blown away by the flavor of the coffee, as well as our western omelette and Bagel breakfast sandwich. Local shops like this are more deserving of your money than any chain/franchise out there.

Did I mention we even were given a complimentary cupcake on our way out?! Will be returning as soon as we can, and I recommend you stop in as well.

Amanda's is a great local eatery for breakfast lunch and dinner. The cupcakes are to die for. Especially true for the chocolate espresso flavor with a coffee bean on top. I love that one! But this place is so much more than just another cupcake shop. It's right on Main St. In Historic Downtown Hopkinsville and is a true asset to our community. Amanda is a fantastic chef. My favorites are the family recipe chicken salad sandwiches she makes daily, and the French pressed coffee she makes by the cup for special order. I don't know where she gets her coffee, but it's a great blend and tastes amazing. Options abound when ordering coffee. Her soups are delicious, and she makes a mean banana split. Can't find the picture of the banana split I ate on my birthday, but I will come back and post when it turns up. Many more menu options as well. I love this place! My family loves this place! It's a cute cozy spot with great potential.With a little money and help i can see this place thrive in the near future! Amanda is awesome and the food, the sweets, the drinks, and Coffee all are great! You can tell she has a real passion for what she is doing. You can really taste the love! She will only get better and better with time! I hope she is here to stay and that she becomes a beacon of joy and good treats year-round! 5????'s all day long .... We will be back soon!
