La Trattoria

Love eating here! The atmosphere is wonderful for friends or a date night. Take out is just as good as dining in. I've had the Pizza, Shrimp Scampi, Bruschetta, Greek Salad and Tiramisu. All better than anything I've tried in Lexington. Prices are reasonable too. Winchester is so fortunate to have this little gem!

The food was excellent, but they've got to get a handle on service. Waited over 20 min to be seated because tables weren't being cleaned even though they were unoccupied. 20 people turned around and left in frustration over the lack of trying to seat anyone. Finally got seated and then ignored. After 10 minutes I went to the bar and got menus myself. Other people around us got up and left without ordering. I was inside the restaurant for 1 hour and 45 min. That's crazy long. Way too long and too slow on everything. They lost at least 30 people's business tonight because of lack luster service. It was a train wreck. That's a lot of money that didn't go into the cash register. I really hope they get it sorted out and do better. I really want to like this place. The food was delicious, but I won't go back until they get all the kinks worked out.

First time eating there, amazing atmosphere and the staff was super friendly!! Food was prepared exactly as ordered and refills were prompt. Our waitress Ashley was friendly and very informative as to the past of the building and questions about the menu. Highly recommended you experience this place and make it a regular stop in your dining choices!!

Food was great! Still some kinks to work out with it being so new. I was disappointed I didn’t get garlic bread with my pasta though. I would have even liked the option to purchase garlic bread with my meal. Absolutely loved the moscato (a bit pricy but absolutely worth it). I love Italian food, so I’m super excited to keep going back to support this place!

The Roccanova's have opened a new Italian Tavern in Winchester, La Trattoria Italian Tavern. The space is incredibly warm and inviting. They have a great selection of wine and beer. Amazing menu selection with prompt and friendly service.
Such a welcome addition to downtown.
