    Delicious. The waitress was wonderful and funny. Very good about checking enough but not interrupting often. They didn't mind our special requests.

    The food was great and the people were wonderful. Fried fish, sliced mutton, bugaroo and all the sides you could want. You could definitely get a local feel when here. If buffet's aren't your thing, then you will miss out.

    I had heard for years how good this was. It did not disappoint, in fact I thought it was better than I even expected. It is worth the drive from Louisville to eat at Moonlight!

    The food was awesome.
    The wait-in-line was awful. Signed in on the wait list at 1:15 and were seated at 3:30. We think we got looked over as they were working off of several lists. But...once inside there was no one rushing us. Food (including cakes and pies) was plentiful.
    Just beware...Mothers Day and BBQ Festival weekend = LONG waits.

    We had a big group and the service staff went out of the way to accommodate us. The buffet was great as usual. It had brisket, ribs, mutton, pulled pork, as well as all the other sides you would find in a bbq restaurant. And the pecan pie, cheesecake, and banana pudding are excellent. They are world famous for a reason.
