Shogun of Owensboro

Had the hibachi here with 4 other friends. The chef was amazing, and had good humor. Food was amazing with very large portions. I cannot wait to go again!

A long winded review would be pointless when I can simply say. This is by far one of the best, tastiest, and entertaining food experiences you can get. I have and will continue to recommend this place to friends and family alike. If possible, treat yourself and experience food Nirvana.

Service was really good. We went on a Saturday night at 6pm and got in right away. We had the dinner for 2 with filet and chicken. When we got our food I was surprised at how much we both got. Both of us had left overs to take home. Everything was amazing!

Our eating there was an early Friday visit. I surprised my wife by pulling up and saying, let's see if the grill is hot. She and I both LOVE Japanese cooking. It was our first visit, and it was grand! The service was quick and they made sure all was to our liking. The cook was good at his skills though not as entertaining as some others were that night. But there were only 2 couples at our table, which added to the quieter cooking presentation I suppose. But no complaint with his cooking at all. Our steak was tender, cooked perfect. Our scrimp was seasoned and cooked just right... Then all the veggies, rice and noodles you could possibly hold - and 2 carry out boxes as well. I'm really happy they moved to their new Highway 54 spot...a great new excuse to drive to Owensboro! Highly Recommended for your dining enjoyment.

Our convertible club eats at a different restaurant every week during the summer. We hadn’t been to Shogun since they moved into their new location. We got extraordinary service and excellent food for a fair price. Everyone had a blast and the staff is the best. The Hibachi chefs are not only skilled but extremely talented entertainers also. Can’t wait to go back!
