Shoney's Owensboro

The food was good but some of the stuff on the hot bar was pretty much cold. If u caught it when they brought fresh out it was hot. Most of it was ok but there was a few, not so much.

Food was good. Waitress offered great service Resurant could have been cleaner. Floor was sticky.

My 13 year old granddaughter and I had a lunch date at the Owensboro, KY Shoney's today. We had a great time! We talked and laughed so much. It was wonderful. Our server, Eavie C., she was kind and friendly. She never missed a beat with us. She was on top of our drink refills, and making sure to check several times if we needed anything without being intrusive. Let me just say, that lady is gem and should be very appreciated by her managers. I fell in love with Shoney's Big Boy as a 4 year old little girl growing up in Charleston, WV. A lot of things have changed over the years with this restaurant chain, but I still love it. I always feel comfortable when I'm there, the food is great, and the staff members are always cheerful and take good care of the customers. I'm not able to visit as much as I'd like due to being on a fixed income, but, you can bet I will be there as often as possible in the future. Thank you for helping me make a great memory with my sweet granddaughter.

Frog legs on the buffet! Raves were the navy beans, frog legs, ribs, fresh salad, peach cobbler. Service was excellent, staff courteous. Will return ????
