Babalu Tapas & Tacos - Lexington

Tuna ceviche was good, but a lot of the tapas were a little weird. Whatever cajun sauce that's on the shrimp and grits is super sweet and didn't go with the dish. Sangria was really sweet and made with vodka instead of brandy so wouldn't recommend. Overall it's what you expect from an American chain fusion restaurant; good prices but okay food.

Went for the first time last night and was the best food I’ve had in a long time!!!! Everything we ordered was absolutely perfect and the service was friendly!!!! Being that it was a tapas restaurant I was expecting smaller portions but the portion size was fantastic and the quality was amazing!!!! Lamb sliders, guacamole and filet on a stick were all perfect!!!! I love this place!!!! Very very nice dining experience!!!!

Good food, good atmosphere. Shrimp tacos and the dessert sampler were the best. We had a great server, helpful with our selections, and very personable. Would like to go again.

The flavors are great. Everything we had was tasty. Lamb kebabs were probably the best. The portions are small, so don't expect to dine on a budget. They were also out of several things at 1 pm on a Sunday, at least four things, so be prepared to be flexible.

Again, awesome flavors. Good service. Would go back.
