If you love BBQ especially on the spicy side this is the place to go! Extra tender beef brisket with 3 sauces on the table to try in varying degrees of flavor and heat. Great pulled pork too! There are various items on the menu such as fries, slaw, dressed eggs, salads and daily specials.
Smoked meats are among the best I've had. Get the brisket. Always a good IPA on tap. Sit outside if it's nice out.
County Club is, hands down, the best meal we have ever had in Lexington. Everything here is perfect: food, drink, atmosphere, service, price; they do it all right. We ordered a couple things off the regular menu and a couple of the specials. First of all, they have the best brisket I’ve ever had in my life (melt-in-your-mouth good, perfect burnt ends). The brussels sprouts were also amazing - I have never had Brussels sprouts this good. The two specials - the salad and chili cheese fries - were great, and I’m excited to go back to try other specials as they happen. Definitely go, and do yourself a favor and get a little bit of everything.
Delicious food! I ordered the sandwich special which was different from what was available on the menu. I've been a lot of places where the special is not anything new but just a lower price than what's on the menu. The people were friendly and we got to sit anywhere we liked. My favorite thing about the place is that the menu doesn't have an overwhelming selection so you are not bombarded with options. The food is also locally sourced which is neat. Only 4 stars though because there is no kids menu so I had to pay full price for a simpler version of the burger so my toddler would have something to eat.
Oh so much fun! The cocktails here are ingeniously created hats off to the mix master! Especially impressive were the Tequila creations Holy Moly they were slightly sweet with a touch of heat. Appetizers were just as delightful perfectly cooked PEI mussels not rubbery but tender and moist. Pork Belly was crispy and juicy at the same time. My only discomfort were the chairs. I have an old body that doesn't do too well with high top dining???? but if you are a younger person than 50 have at it!
